Genre: Drama/angst
Characters: Tony/Pepper
Summary: Y
ou had enough presence of mind to try to tamp down onto the hysteria. You squashed it all down, mercilessly, in a bid to stamp it out of your system. And for a while, it was enough. It seemed to work.

Title: THE GHOST OF YOU (Part 1/?)
By: [livejournal.com profile] vespertinesoul
Rating: R
Genre: Drama/angst
Characters: Tony/Pepper
Summary: Sometimes I felt you; sometimes,
I could feel your presence. Once, I heard your voice ... it called me back. Once, I felt your hand on me. It was so warm. I could feel you. I couldn't stop thinking about you.
Disclaimer: The characters themselves, except for all and any OCs, are not my property. I am not borrowing them under legal authorisation by concerning parties, like MARVEL, but simply out of fun - there is no profit involved. There WILL be much enjoyment, though.
AN: I just couldn't leave well enough alone. I *had* to write something else. And this seemed like the next best thing, since it's been lying around, inert, in my head. Pepperony has officially taken me over. The song is duly credited, but I did alter it slightly for artistic license purposes. And once more, LJcuts are annoying the hell out of me!!
Banner by me; see it here.

Banner for my new Iron Man fic (WIP).

Somehow lacking that little I-don't-know-what, but I'm still happy enough with the results that I declare it finished; mission accomplished!

It came together almost all by itself really, without hardly input from me.

Still used Paint.Net, because GIMP officially gives me a headache, as of now, trying to figure out how to work it.

Shall get there in the end.

Once more, LJcut does not wish to work properly for me tonight ... *sighs*

vespertinestar: (The ghost of you)

 <--by dennis_csi - this is WUV.

Not a bad way to end a day that started out real bad, being caught out in a suden summer STORM without an umbrella as I was making my way to a uni 9am exam. The day improved because, though I had to make a sudden stop in one of the shops - or risk getting *showered* - when I finally arrived, I was yes, very soaked and practically dripping, but so was everyone else - and the professor only arrived almost 1hr later than the start of the exam - it was all good.

Then I get frustrated with LJcuts, as usual, and the formatting and them not working properly once the entry is posted --- I HATE them!

On the plus side, new IM fic posted - yay! - I'm loving this period of creativity I'm going through, hope it lasts. Also made a banner to go with it, of course - they are both my obsession now.

Along with the Pepperony fandom - and RDJ himself, my own
Smoulderific!genius *cuddles pic*

As far as I'm concerned, he deserves all the credit he can get; MOVE OVER Pitt, Depp, Clooney and the Gang - you only *wish* you lot had half the talent this guy has, or the natural charm and wittiness!

Getting things off my chest here on LJ is decidedly therapeutic, I cannot regret opening an account, after looking at the network for years, wondering what all the fuss was about, and how it worked. Some much welcome change in my life.

And now I'm off to do that which most people should be doing at 0.28am with another uni exam at 11am next morning - or later that morning - which is to sleep.

Would like to thank Nani1986, for her warm, enthusiastic support - a wonderful highlight of any of my days; a great friend. Thank you Nani, for your support and encouragement: if it wasn't for you, some of this stuff wouldn't have made it this far. I'm very grateful. *hugs*

Flaws and perfection?
Flaws and perfection?
Slightly altered version of 'the honeythief' - with added text, this is the original version.

First successful manip banner I made a few days ago. It's so amatorial, but I love it!

Love this. Made it in something crazy like 30 minutes, which is probably a lot, but it took me a while to get it just right - I'm a perfectionist - HAD to share this with everyone! I look at it and it makes me smile ... though I'm still such an amateur :(

Made in reference to how I see her feelings for a certain someone, hint hint, nudge nudge.

OMG. This is what lack of  *SLEEP* does to me.

Just posted THE MEMORY CROWN and added it to the [livejournal.com profile] its_always_been comm, and feel pretty nooddled by lack of sleep - grand total of 4.something hours last night - and sheer excitement that comes only from writing this particular fandom.

AN: A huge thanks to my beta [livejournal.com profile] cincoflex, without whose help this would not be half as well written ... not that it is all that well written, but her input and helpful, friendly advice have been of great support. You're the best cinco!

Pairing: Tony/Pepper
Rated: 15 - to be on the safe side
Summary: Tony, like so many others, understood that they had contributed to create perhaps the greatest weapon of mass destruction man could ever hope to make. If the fabrics holding the realities together should somehow rip and begin to tear, the whole framework would eventually unravel. Too much was at stake. And so the great conspiracy began.

[Error: unknown template qotd]Probably smell ... losing touch would be a damn shame, losing taste could be dangerous to your taste buds if you can't tell whether what you're eating is too salty or sweet for your organism.

I would HATE to lose either sight or sound. First because without sight I wouldn't be able to look at the world anymore, nor enjoy its beauties (*drools thinking about RDJ*). Second, sound, I love music and could not bear to live in a silent, silent world with only my voice sounding in my head to keep me company.

So it's probably smell ... even if I couldn't smell anything anymore, I would still keep my eyes and my ears - and I could be happy with that.

You learn something new every day - of course I knew this to be true, but sometimes I am still surprised by the things one learns unexpectedly each day. I was browsing through Amazon, and quite by chance came upon this novelty, which indeed sounds like a GREAT read: Go the F**k to Sleep"Go the F*ck to sleep", byRead more... )
BOOK DESCRIPTION: Go the F**k to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don’t always send a toddler sailing off to dreamland. Profane, affectionate and refreshingly honest, it captures the familiar and unspoken tribulations of putting your child to bed for the night. Colourfully illustrated and hilariously funny, this is a breath of fresh air for parents new, old, and expectant*.
(*You should probably NOT  read this to your children.)

Lol, what a novelty, what an idea, it's perfect; talk about clichés! (its always been comm)   ;) Take an overexhausted work like fairytales and bedtime stories, and re-shape it into a new, refreshing read - fabulous! Now about those clichés I'd like to write ....

Going for a walk, everywhere and anywhere. My iPod is on, the music shapes and shadows my every step ... there are very few better feelings in the world to me than this. Pure magic.

Any new memories I could possibly make would not be as significant or as good as the ones I have of my past, and the people who were a part of it. So I would definitely choose to never be able to make new ones.

First ever fic challenge entered here at an LJ community - and here is the banner to prove it! Yay me, for finding both time and inspiration to enter the challenge.

Can't wait to do it again!

Definitely House, haven't watched it regularly since season 6-ish ... what a TRAVESTY it has become!! They should just cancel it, not because H.Laurie himself is not talented - he IS - but the character has been through every and any worst things imaginable and is never going to change. I think he's given as much as he could give, and now needs. to. Quit.

*WARNING: SERIOUS BASHING AND RANTING/BITCHING AHEAD!*
You have been warned. Read at your own risk.

I have been trying to post a fic here on my LJ, and it is driving me *nuts*, because there's all these things I want to insert in the entry, like a poll that actually has *buttons* and that WORKS, and I don't know how to do it properly.

Formatting the actual text body of the fic has been nothing short of nightmarish, especially because I want to insert links disguised behind the word "here", for example, so that the word here appears, but if you click on it, there's the link behind it that takes you to where I want ... and I can't make it work.

I  submitted the fic to a community for the first time ever - I have had an LJ account for all of a fortnight *today* - and managed to emabarassingly bungle that, too... and even if I wanted to repost it, I wouldn't know how to do it properly, because I *can't figure out how to work the damn entry tools!!*

GRRR.

Hammer, anyone??

aaaahhh, ye bastard!!

I also know French and I'm a native Italian speaker,so that's two languages, plus English.

Think I'd like to learn Spanish, Japanese and possibly Russian.

One really weird/unusual one is Swahili, I quite like the phonology of the words, they sound very pretty :)
